Lucifer from Supernatural: Hammer of the Gods

Hi,
After watching Doctor Who and Sherlock I felt I should watch Supernatural. I saw a post on fem versions of Team Free Will (Sammy, Dean and Cas) and thought about all the others. I chose Lucifer first since of the burns on his face in Hammer of the Gods (5.19)  are very distinctive and I love colouring on my face ;)

I found a light blue blouse/shirt in New Look and a Khaki vest. I also used my pair of blue skinny jeans. I know everyone on Supernatural wears bootcut jeans but I like to tuck my jeans into my boots. I used my brown lace/zip up boots I bought from Next a couple of years ago. They don't sell them anymore though.

MAKE-UP!
For the make-up I put on my "normal" foundation which I wear whenever I leave the house which for me is quite pale. You want to leave around the eyes as any natural bags will help with this!

You then want to make dark bags around your eyes using browns and some purples. It should be darker toward the middle and nearer the actual eye.

Finally you want to add the burns. For this get a dark browny-red lipstick and just draw the burn shapes on your face. They need to vary in size so start by drawing about 4 or 5 bigger burns on each size then add smaller ans smaller ones until you're finished. To give them a bit more detail I drew around the outside with a 1000 kisses Rimmel lip pen to make it look like they had started to heal over.

Since I was doing this for Fem!Lucifer I didn't do anything about facial hair so I'm sorry I can't help properly with that!
I would recommend googling how to make a stubble look then adding that on last! :)

I'll try and find time to do this again and actually take in costume pictures!

Hope this helps!

Peggy Carter from Captain America: The First Avenger

Hi guys!

Firstly I apoligise for how INSANELY late this post is, but secondly HERE IT ACTUALLY IS!!!!!!

Peggy Carter from Captain America: The First Avenger (2011)

For this I rented a costume from my local costume hire (Cotswold Costumes)
I bought the shoes from New Look. They are a pair of Brown Brogues.

HAIR!!!!
The Night BeforeWash your hair and when it's damp sock curl it.

Sock Curling is literally just curling your hair with socks. It doesn't use heat as is essentially a form off rag rolling. Split your hair into sections and roll it up in a sock. Do this all over your hair then sleep with this in. As your hair dries in your sleep it should stay in the curls you have.

The Day
After sock curling your hair you will need to pin up the front.
Take the front of your hair and twist it around a couple of times. You then need to form a loop and then pin it to the side of your hair.

When I did this I had to take my fringe the other way as it was too short to loop. You may also need to take a small section of hair from behind your fringe.

MAKE-UP!!!
The most distinguishable part of Peggy's make-up is her red lipstick.

Eyes:
White eye shadow, eyeliner top and bottom and mascara.
Lips:
Red Lipstick. An alternative is using red face paint or a eye shadow then putting Vaseline or lip gloss over the top.

Hope this helps you!

Introduction

Hi, my name's Becky.

My friends and I are constantly having fancy dress parties as we all feel this makes them more fun. I thought it would be a good idea to put all my costumes and some of my friend's on here so other people can see how we did it and interpret them in their own ways.

I hope this helps at least one person!

Enjoy X
